Department for Education

Many Parents are keen to see how we are performing in relation to other schools.

The Department for Education (Dfe) Performance Tables provide a reliable and accessible source of comparative information on pupil attainment and progress, absence, workforce and finance. The Performance Tables include percentages of achievement at expected standard or above in reading, writing and maths and the percentage of expected progress in each subject. You can find the School Performance Tables from the DfE by clicking the link below.

Key Stage 2 Assessments

At the end of Key Stage 2 children are judged to be either working at the expected standard or not. Some children may be judged to be working above the expected standard.

At the end of Key Stage 2, children sit a test in Reading, GPS (Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling) and Maths. Children are assessed by their class teacher in Writing.

The results of the SATs (tests) are reported using a scaled score, where a score of 100 represents the expected standard. The highest possible score is 120 and the lowest is 80.

Children are awarded one of the following Teacher Assessment judgements in writing:

  • Working towards the expected standard – working below the expected standard for their age
  • Expected Standard – Working at the expected standard for their age
  • Greater Depth – Working at greater depth within the expected standard and has a strong understanding of the curriculum

Due to small cohorts and the low confidence level in data, not all data will be published. Please note that due to confidentiality, in year groups with small cohort sizes, some data may not be published. This is particularly true in small groups of SEND pupil or FSM pupils.

Our most recent Key Stage 2 SATs results can be viewed below:

School Website Data 2023

The government will not publish KS2 school level data for the 2021 to 2022 academic year. The last available public data is from the 2018 to 2019 academic year. It is important to note that the data from that year may no longer reflect current performance.
