Curriculum Content

We believe that school life should have academic challenge, be motivating, full of first hand experiences and providing exciting opportunities, while preparing all children for life. This applies to all children in our school. The core beliefs on which our creative curriculum have been developed are:

  • Social and emotional well being through spiritual and moral development
  • Community links including local, national and global communities
  • Appreciation of the outdoor environment
  • Quality, creative learning in preparation for life

Lessons are planned using statutory objectives from the 2014 National Curriculum. We adapt our planning according to the needs and interests of our pupils in order to maintain a stimulating and relevant curriculum.  We believe in educating the children about equality and are part of the Educate and Celebrate programme, promoting positive relationships and fairness for all.
