Introduction

Welcome to our SEND information page. Hopefully you will find everything that you need.

We review our SEND report information on an annual basis – latest review January 2024 (S Gibbins – SENCO)

We believe it is our responsibility to show our pupils the value of all people, to celebrate difference , and to take a stand for acceptance and inclusion. We see the wider Christian community as our church, and the parish as our natural partner.

We strive to provide a stimulating and caring environment rooted in Cristian values which develops our pupils, who can contribute to and shape the world in which they live. Our creative curriculum provides a range of opportunities that allow all children to flourish to their full potential , experience their own successes, grow in confidence and develop life long skills and attitudes. Children are encouraged to have a “ big voice” and influence school life and the wider world beyond.

Our school motto “ Together We Succeed” encapsulates this.

At Hutton Henry CofE Primary School we recognise that all pupils are entitled to a quality of provision that will enable them to achieve their potential. We believe in positive intervention, removing barriers to learning, raising expectations and levels of achievement and working in partnership with other agencies in order to provide a positive educational experience for all our pupils including those with a special educational need or disability.

Our school recognises there are particular groups of pupils whose circumstances require additional consideration by those who work with them to support their SEN.

At Hutton Henry CofE Primary School we ensure that all pupils, regardless of their specific needs make the best possible progress.

This SEND Information Report should be read alongside the school’s SEND Policy, the Equalities Information and Objectives and the Accessibility Plan.
